Dear Friends,

As many of you know, our local community suffered a tragic loss on January 22nd. Bill Reising and Mary Veverka's precious daughter, Rhianne King, went to be with the Lord. Please keep this family in your prayers.

They also lost their home and possessions to the fire. The house is still in the probate process from Bill and his brother Jim's dad, Bob Reising, who passed last Fall, and is not insured. So many people have asked how they can help the family and we are facilitating by connecting your loving support to the family. The Florence Church has set up an Online Donation that will go 100% directly to the family. The church members have also setup donation days/times at the church for clothing and other small item donations. If you'd like to donate larger items, such as furniture, etc., or your time, talents or building materials as they plan to restore the home, please email the church at florencecongregationalchurch@gmail.com and we will coordinate with the family.
